  • Choose this unless you plan to apply for the Family Maximum price. Each person in the family will be registered individually and their price will be calculated based on their age.

  • Register for the Family Max price for you, your spouse and your children.
    The price for the family max is $340, $355 or $365 depending on how early you register.
    If you have 2 adults and at least 3 children above the age of 6, you may qualify for the family max price!

Volunteering Info

Camp Shehaqua is run entirely by volunteers! This helps us keep costs low, and more importantly gives everyone an opportunity to be a part of creating the experience as a community. We are grateful for each person's contributions, campers over the age of 18 will be assigned a volunteer role by the Camp Director or Education Director. Woo!

There are also some volunteer options for High School children as well for youth that are interested.

Job Assignment Preference

Select as many as you are interested in. A job will be assigned to you by the Director closer to the date of the Camp. View explanations of each of the job assignment options here.

  • Help the Camp Director to run camp! Great for learning the ropes of directing.

  • Teach a group of any ages from small kids to adult discussions!

  • Be part of the team that prepares meals and coordinates dining hall cleanup.

  • Lead music at meals and activities

  • Handle first-aid and providing of medication to campers who need it.

  • Lifeguarding certification required. If interested, we will pay for your lifeguard certification if you commit to being lifeguard for the year!

  • Be part of a team that handles general maintenance and cleanup of camp.

  • Lead groups on a beautiful hike along one of Hickory Run's trails.

  • Keep camp facilities such as the showers and bathrooms clean throughout the week.

  • Take photos and videos of camp for use in social media and the website.

  • Be available to watch over small children during some activities involving parents.

  • Run and coordinate the entire camp program for the week.

  • Recruit and coordinate presenters and educational content for camp.

  • Supervise the dining hall in the evenings and close it down at 11:30pm

  • The camp director will reach out to see how you can help out!

Please fill in this form completely (one form per child) as soon as possible. AS PER THE RULES ISSUED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION & NATURAL RESOURCES OF THE STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA, ALL CAMPERS MUST HAVE THIS FORM AT THE CAMP. If we do not receive this form by July 6, we reserve the right to refund the money already submitted and fill the available space from our waiting list.
